Franz Greßl is a former Austrian politician and farmer born on January 20, 1936, in Ritzenberg, Austria. He was a member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and served as a representative in the Lower Austrian State Parliament from 1983 to 1993. Before entering politics, he studied at an agricultural technical school and became a self-employed farmer in 1966. Greßl held various political positions, including district party chairman and vice mayor, and was also involved in the district farmers' chamber.
