Franz Weidhüner is a retired German Air Force Major General, born on October 4, 1958, in Varel. He served as the head of the Armed Forces Office in Bonn from December 15, 2017, to September 28, 2023. Weidhüner began his military career in 1975 and held various roles, including as Deputy Head in the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Defense and as the last commander of the Bundeswehr Logistics Office. He was also a commander at the Bundeswehr Logistics School until 2015.
