Fred Gómez Carrasco, also known as 'El Señor', was a prominent American drug baron of Mexican descent born on February 10, 1940. He was the most powerful heroin kingpin in South Texas during the late 1960s and 1970s, overseeing a vast drug empire across the Texas-Mexico border. Despite his relatively young age, Carrasco was infamously known for his violent tactics and extensive criminal record, including numerous murders. He faced multiple arrests and ultimately died by suicide on August 3, 1974, after a failed prison escape.
