Frederick Stratton (1913–2001) was a prominent English haematologist known for his expertise in blood transfusion. He was instrumental in discovering one of the Rh allelomorphs and conducted significant research into human blood groups. After completing his medical education, he worked at the Manchester Blood Depot and later became director of the Manchester Blood Centre. Stratton contributed to blood group testing methods and authored the book 'Practical Blood Grouping'. In 1947, he married Louisa A. Pineger and had two sons.
