Freddy Bolsø, also known as Fred The Shred, is a Norwegian drummer born in 1973. Notable for his work with the death metal band Blood Red Throne from 1999 to 2002 and again from 2013 to present, he has also played with Enslaved in 2003, Ulf Risnes from 2005 to 2010, and Deleted Waveform Gatherings since 2006. Additionally, he performed with the band Tre Små Kinesere until 2014. He has been a permanent percussionist and occasional drummer in Elgs solo band 'Elgband' since 2017 and is part of the folk rock band Kystfolket since December 2012.
