Freddy de Jesús is a former professional tennis player from Puerto Rico, born on October 30, 1954, in San Juan. He achieved early success, winning both the Junior Orange Bowl in 1966 and the 14s Easter Bowl in 1968. He earned All-American honors while playing tennis for the University of Michigan in the mid-1970s. De Jesús represented Puerto Rico at the 1975 Pan American Games, securing two medals. His notable achievement in the Grand Prix circuit includes a quarter-final in the San Juan Open in 1981. He was inducted into the Puerto Rico Sports Hall of Fame in 1991.
