Notable works include the manga for Super Jetter and character designs for Adventure on Gaboten Island. Hisamatsu aspired to be a manga artist since childhood and began writing manga in junior high, debuting with Earth Crisis. He also worked as an assistant to renowned manga artist Osamu Tezuka. His contributions to the manga industry influenced many subsequent artists.
