Fusao Sekiguchi is a Japanese businessman and Thoroughbred horse racing enthusiast, born on December 20, 1935, in Amagasaki, Hyogo. He founded and served as CEO of Meitec in Nagoya, later establishing Venture Safe Net, Inc in Tokyo. Sekiguchi is known for owning several racehorses, notably Fusaichi Pegasus, the 2000 Kentucky Derby winner, sold for $64 million. Other successful horses he owned include Fusaichi Concorde, a Tokyo Yushun winner, and Fusaichi Pandora, winner of the 2006 Q.E. II Cup and mother of the renowned horse Almond Eye.
