Futoshi Abe, born Taka Abe on December 16, 1966, was a Japanese guitarist known for his work with the rock band THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT from 1994 to 2003. He contributed significantly to the band's sound and was a prominent figure in the Japanese rock scene. He was married and passed away on July 22, 2009.
