Futoshi Matsunaga (松永 太) is a Japanese serial killer born on April 28, 1961. He is notorious for his involvement in the Kitakyushu serial murder incident (北九州連続殺人事件), where he was convicted of six murders and one manslaughter between 1996 and 1998. Matsunaga was sentenced to death, with his crimes committed alongside his partner, Junko Ogata, who received a life sentence. His killings were so horrific that many Japanese media outlets were unable to publish the details.
