G. Nagesh, an Indian politician born on 21 October 1964, hails from the Gond community. He was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1994 as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate, winning the Boath seat. Serving as Minister of State for Scheduled Tribes Welfare, he lost the seat in 2004 but regained it in 2009. Nagesh later joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in 2014 and shifted to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2024, preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He has also led the TDP district unit in Adilabad.
