Gabriel 'Gabes' Shihepo (1945-2008) was a Namibian politician and member of the SWAPO party. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1999 until his death in 2008 and held various ministerial positions including Deputy Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Deputy Minister of Safety and Security. Prior to his political career, he was involved in agriculture, serving as Chairperson of both the Omahangu Farmers' Association and the Mangetti Farmers' Union, and later became President of the Namibian National Farmers' Union.
