Gagik Beglaryan (1946-2021) was an Armenian obstetrician-gynecologist born in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He earned his Doctor of Medical Sciences degree and became a professor in 1997. In 1999, he was elected as an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. Gagik was recognized as a Distinguished Scientist of Armenia in 2014. He is the son of notable scientist Artashes Beglaryan and significantly contributed to the field of medicine until his passing in 2021.
