Galen B. Jackman is a retired U.S. Army Major General, born in 1951. He served as the Army's Chief Legislative Liaison at the Pentagon and was previously the first commanding general of the Joint Force Headquarters National Capital Region. After retiring in 2008, he joined Raytheon Company as vice-president for U.S. Army Programs. Jackman is notably recognized for his role during Ronald Reagan's death and state funeral in June 2004, particularly for escorting former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
