He is the founder of Charokee International and served as its President and CEO until 2004. In addition to his business ventures, he holds a significant position as the President and Patron-in-Chief of Ganpat University in Mehsana, Gujarat. Patel is actively involved in the advisory role for fotonVR and is the chairman of Guniguru. His contributions to literature and education earned him the prestigious Padma Shri award.
