Gary Edson Arlington (1938-2014) was an influential American retailer, artist, editor, and publisher in the underground comix movement during the 1960s and 1970s. He owned the San Francisco Comic Book Company, marking one of the first comic book stores in America, which became a hub for underground artists in the Bay Area. Arlington published comics under his company name and also as Eric Fromm. His contributions to the San Francisco cultural scene were recognized by notable figures like cartoonist Robert Crumb.
