Gary Richard Glenn was an American politician and activist, serving in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2015 to 2018 as a Republican. He fought against compulsory union membership and led the American Family Association of Michigan, recognized by the SPLC as a hate group. Glenn coauthored a 2004 amendment defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman, which was nullified by the Supreme Court's 2015 decision in Obergefell v. Hodges. He was born on June 16, 1958, and passed away on July 27, 2023.
