Gavin Chester is an Australian equestrian born on December 31, 1959. He represented Australia in two events at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and was selected for the 1980 Olympics but could not compete due to a government boycott. Chester is a four-time winner of the Australian Show Jumping Championship, with titles earned on horses Rossmore and Another Flood. He has also served as chair of the National Jumping Committee in Australia and remains active in show jumping as a course designer and coach.
