Julius 'Geechie' Fields (1904 - unknown) was an American jazz trombonist known for his contributions to early jazz music. He grew up in the Jenkins Orphanage in Charleston, South Carolina, where he learned trombone. He performed at John O’Conner’s Club and worked with notable musicians in New York during the 1920s, including Jelly Roll Morton, Clarence Williams, and James P. Johnson. Fields later left the music scene in the 1930s to work as a sports coach and boxing instructor in New York City.
