Geir Ove Berg is a former Norwegian ski jumper, ski jumping coach, and current sports official in golf. In March 1976, he set a ski flying world record of 173 meters at the Heini-Klopfer Ski Flying Hill, surpassing the previous record set by Heinz Wosipiwo by four meters, although this record lasted only a day. After retiring from active competition, he became the national coach for Norway's ski jumpers and later served as Secretary General of the Norwegian Golf Federation, representing Norway in the European Golf Association. He resides in Lommedalen.
