Geoff Makhubo was a South African politician who served as the Mayor of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality until his death in July 2021. A member of the African National Congress, he was also the regional chairperson in Johannesburg and a member of the mayoral committee for finance under the mayorship of Parks Tau. Makhubo was noted for his contributions to local governance and his work within the ANC.
