Geoffrey Innes Davey was an Australian civil engineer and priest, born on 27 November 1906. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Sydney in 1929 and worked on various engineering projects, including the Woronora Dam. A member of the Liberal Party, he contested for the House of Representatives in 1946. As a founder of the Association of Consulting Engineers, he held several prestigious roles and was appointed CBE in 1966. Later in life, he became a priest, being ordained in 1971, and served until his death on 12 February 1975.
