Geoffrey Gordon (May 17, 1924 – December 19, 1989) was an English and American engineer known for founding the discrete event simulation modeling approach. He created the GPSS World simulation modeling system and authored two significant books on the subject published in 1968 and 1975. Gordon's contributions have had a lasting impact on the field of simulation modeling, influencing both academic and practical applications.
