Georg Fors was a Swedish civil servant, entrepreneur, local historian, and author, born on July 17, 1925, in Norra Sandsjö. He held key positions in the Swedish Railway Administration and later took over Fors Bilar after his brother's death. He expanded the business and later returned to his hometown to pursue local history research, resulting in several publications. In addition, he authored a book on carillons after following the Peace Bells on their US tour. He passed away on November 4, 2013.
