Georg Markus is an Austrian non-fiction author and newspaper columnist, born on February 2, 1951, in Vienna. He began his career as an assistant to the cabaret artist Karl Farkas, later becoming a journalist in 1970. Markus has written over 40 books focused on historical themes, particularly on Austrian contemporary history. His notable work includes exposing the grave robbing of Mary Vetsera and uncovering JFK's illegitimate son. Apart from journalism, he has hosted radio shows and performed in theatrical productions. He is also a member of various literary and press organizations.
