George Thaxton Farmer is an American former professional football player born on April 19, 1948. He played as a wide receiver in the NFL for six seasons. Farmer was also an accomplished athlete at UCLA, competing in track, football, and basketball. He was part of the Bruins' 1969 NCAA championship basketball team. His legacy continues with his son, Danny Farmer, who also played football both at UCLA and for the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL.
