George Herbert Walker, Jr. (November 24, 1905 - November 1977) was an American businessman and a member of the Bush family. He co-founded the New York Mets in 1960 alongside Joan Whitney Payson. He was the wealthy businessman George Herbert Walker's son and the father of notable figures such as Judge John M. Walker, Jr. and U.S. Ambassador George Herbert Walker III. A close uncle to President George H.W. Bush, he assisted Bush in entering the oil business in the 1950s and was a member of the Yale secret society Skull & Bones.
