Price is known for rediscovering Hamilton's work on kin selection using new equations, co-developing the concept of Evolutionarily Stable Strategy (ESS) with John Maynard Smith, and formalizing Fisher's fundamental theorem of natural selection. He tragically committed suicide after converting to Christianity and donating his assets to the poor.
