Georgiĭ Khubov (April 26, 1902 – November 11, 1981) was an Armenian Soviet musicologist from the Russian Empire. He served as the editor of 'Sovetskaya Muzyka' from 1952 to 1957 and was also the secretary of the Union of Composers of the USSR. His contributions significantly influenced the development of Soviet musical art. Khubov wrote several important articles and monographs about prominent composers including A. P. Borodin, Johann Sebastian Bach, Aram Khachaturian, and M. P. Musorgsky, highlighting his deep understanding of music and its history.
