Gerard Arninkhof, born on March 15, 1949, in Roosendaal, is a Dutch journalist and newsreader. He initially trained as a teacher but shifted his focus to journalism, starting as a trainee reporter for the newspaper De Stem. His career progressed with roles at the Twentsche Courant and the NOS Journaal's foreign news division, covering major events in Kosovo and Iraq. In 1994, he became a reporter-presenter and established himself as a main presenter on NOS. Arninkhof retired in late 2010, with a brief return to present a special edition of the news in January 2016.
