Geret Coyne is a former Canadian biathlete and current biathlon coach born on May 17, 1966, in Cayley. He was part of the Canadian national team for four years and competed in a Junior World Championship and the Biathlon World Cup season of 1987/88. After retiring as an athlete, he became a coach, obtaining a Level 4 coaching license, and he has been involved with the Canadian coaching staff since 1994. Coyne has worked with biathletes at all Olympics except for 2006 and has been the head coach since 2008.
