Gerry Flynn, born on May 21, 1965, in Longford, Ireland, is an Irish show jumper who competes for Turkey. Until late 2007, he served as a Commander in the Irish Army, achieving significant success with his horse Mo Chroi. He won major competitions in Dublin, Lisbon, Drammen, and Vimeiro in 2007. After retiring from military service, he became the head coach for the Turkish equestrian team and switched nationalities in 2010, representing Turkey in Nations Cups.
