Ghamar Mahmoud is a Syrian writer and novelist born in 1980. He has several publications, including the novel 'Mirror of Babel', which won the Katara Prize for Arabic Novel in the unpublished novel category in 2017. He also authored the novel and play 'Abu al-Fadl al-Jabiri', which received the Al-Naji Naaman Prize in Lebanon in 2008. Additionally, he writes screenplays for short films, such as the children's film 'Early January Winds', which participated in the Carthage International Festival in Tunisia in 2012.
