Gia Lewis-Smallwood is an American discus thrower born on April 1, 1979, in Urbana, Illinois. She competed at the 2011 World Championships, where she did not advance past qualification, and placed fourth at the Pan American Games. Lewis-Smallwood participated in the 2012 London Olympics, but did not proceed beyond the first round. She achieved fifth place at the 2013 World Championships and won the Continental Cup in 2014. In 2015, she won a bronze medal at the Pan American Games and finished eleventh at the World Championships in Beijing.
