Gihan Ibrahim, also known as Gigi Ibrahim, is an Egyptian journalist, revolutionary socialist, and activist. During the Egyptian Revolution of 2011, she used Twitter to report on protest events and became recognized in Western media as a face of the demonstrations, particularly the January 25 Revolution. Although her political views were rarely mentioned, she continued her activism and used Twitter as a platform after the events of 2013. Later, she established a shoe manufacturing company in Cairo.
