Gijs Groenteman is a Dutch writer, presenter, and journalist born on January 29, 1974, in Amsterdam. He hosts the weekly radio program Cantina for VPRO on Radio 6. Groenteman has written three books, including works about Willem Ruis and Ischa Meijer. He started his career as an editor for the show Laat de Leeuw, later working as a producer for VPRO radio. Apart from hosting, he is a staff member at VARA TV Magazine and involved in Desmet Live. He has two children with partner Aaf Brandt Corstius.
