Giovanca, born Giovanca Desire Ostiana on March 22, 1977, in Alkmaar, Netherlands, is a Dutch singer, songwriter, and model of Curaçaoan descent. Initially working as a backing singer, she kickstarted her solo career in 2006. Giovanca gained wider recognition through her performances on the television program De Wereld Draait Door. From 2017 onwards, she also became active as a presenter, first with VPRO and later representing EO.
