Giovanni Brusca, born on February 20, 1957, is a former member of the Sicilian Mafia. He is infamous for murdering anti-Mafia magistrate Giovanni Falcone in 1992 and claimed to have committed between 100 and 200 murders, though he could not remember the exact number. He was sentenced to life in prison in absentia, captured in 1996, and later cooperated with the police. Brusca, known as "The Pig" and "The Christian Killer," was remembered as a wild horse but also a great leader by Mafia informant Tommaso Buscetta.
