Giovanni Lievore is a former Italian javelin thrower born on March 20, 1932, in Carrè. He achieved sixth place at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics and eighth at the 1958 European Athletics Championships in Stockholm. Lievore became the Italian champion in both 1956 and 1958 and set his personal best throw of 80.72 meters on October 12, 1958, in Rome. His brother, Carlo Lievore, was also a successful javelin thrower.
