She achieved significant placements in various marathons, including a third place finish at the Cologne Marathon in 2004 and a sixth place finish at the Frankfurt Marathon in 2005. In 2006, she won the Rotterdam Marathon and secured second place in the Rotterdam Half Marathon, as well as seventh place in the Amsterdam Marathon. Mindaye continued to perform well in 2008, finishing eighth at the Paris Marathon and sixth in Amsterdam.
