Giuseppe Perego was an Italian comic artist born on June 1, 1915, in Arcore, Italy. He began drawing Disney comics in 1952 and contributed to many early stories in the 'Lustige Taschenbuch' series, in addition to works like 'Tom und Biber' for the Fix-und-Foxi series. He ceased his comic drawing career in 1982. By June 2011, over 60 of his stories had been published in Germany, along with the setups and frame stories of approximately 60 LTBs. Perego passed away on December 7, 1996.
