Gladys Cherono Kiprono is a Kenyan long-distance runner. She has won numerous races including the Santa Pola Half Marathon, Gavà Half Marathon, Reims à toutes jambes Half Marathon, Porto Half Marathon, Valladolid Half Marathon, A Coruña 10 km, Trofeo José Cano, Zhuhai Half Marathon, Bogotá Half Marathon, Tilburg 10 K, World 10K Bangalore, Prague Half Marathon, and the Berlin Marathon. Cherono won a silver medal at the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow and became the World Half Marathon Champion in Copenhagen in 2014. She holds the course record for the Prague Half Marathon and the Berlin Marathon.
