Glaucius Oliva is a Brazilian scientist, an engineering, biochemistry, and crystallography professor at the University of São Paulo. He served as president of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development from 2011 to 2015 and is a prominent figure in protein crystallography with over 140 articles published. Recognized by TIME and CNN as one of the '50 Latino Leaders for the New Millennium.' His crystallographic samples were analyzed in NASA's space shuttle for drug development studies.
