Glenn Lowell Jepsen was an American vertebrate paleontologist and director of the Princeton Museum of Natural History. He studied geology at Princeton after teaching English briefly and conducted significant research on early mammal fossils, particularly from Wyoming. Jepsen held various academic titles, culminating as the Sinclair Professor of Vertebrate Paleontology. He led many field expeditions and significantly contributed to the understanding of mammalian evolution and biostratigraphy during the Paleocene and early Eocene periods. He was involved in various scientific societies and organized interdisciplinary conferences bridging paleontology, evolution, and genetics.
