Gloria Davis is a former American politician born on February 2, 1938, in the Bronx, New York. She attended Bronx Community College and Fordham University. Davis worked for the New York Supreme Court and the New York City Comptroller before serving as a Democrat in the New York State Assembly from 1981 to 2003. She participated in multiple New York State Legislatures. Despite being re-elected in 2002, she resigned in January 2003 after pleading guilty to bribery, resulting in a 90-day jail sentence and five years probation.
