Glòria Mas Gil is a Catalan figure skater and coach born on December 6, 1960 in Barcelona. She started her career in figure skating at the Centre de Recherche et d’Expertise de la Performance Sportive from 1973 to 1978. Mas became a five-time consecutive Spanish champion from 1975 to 1979 and represented Spain in the 1979 World Championships and several European Championships. She made history by competing in the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics as the first Spanish figure skater. After retiring, she became a coach, training athletes like Marta Andrade for the Olympics.
