Gloria Niemeyer Francke was an influential American pharmacist known for her leadership roles in pharmacy organizations. She served as assistant director of the APhA Division of Hospital Pharmacy and as the first executive secretary of the ASHP. Earning her degree from Purdue University and later a Pharm.D, Francke contributed extensively to drug literature and clinical pharmacy education. She was recognized with the Remington Honor Medal and held various other positions, including as a research associate and teaching coordinator. Her legacy continues through the Gloria Niemeyer Francke Leadership Mentor Award.
