Goni Modu Bura is a Nigerian politician who served as a Senator for the Yobe East constituency in Yobe State. Elected at the inception of the Nigerian Fourth Republic in 1999 on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform, he began his term in office on May 29, 1999. During his time in the Senate, he was appointed to several committees, including Ethics, Environment, Health, State & Local Government, and Government Affairs. He also sought to be the PDP candidate for Governor of Yobe State in the 2003 elections.
