Goran Ostojić was a Serbian and Yugoslav military officer born on January 20, 1962. He served as the chief of staff of the 63rd Parachute Brigade and was a veteran of the Yugoslav Wars. Ostojić died in combat during the Kosovo War on July 28, 1998, and was posthumously promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in recognition of his service and sacrifice.
