Gordon McKellen Jr. is a former American figure skater born on August 26, 1953, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Introduced to the sport by his father, he became a prominent skater, winning the US Championship from 1973 to 1975. McKellen competed in the World Championships from 1971 to 1975, achieving his best result with a fifth-place finish in 1975. He also placed tenth at the 1972 Sapporo Olympics. Notably, he was among the first to perform a triple Axel, though only in exhibitions. He is married to fellow skater Kath Malmberg.
